How to Guide

What is the development time for High Lift Violet Lightener?
Up to 60 minutes or until desired lift is achieved.
Can the High Light Violet Lightener be used in foils?
Yes it can.
Where should I apply the High Lift Violet Lightener?
Apply to areas you wish to lighten without overlapping previously lightened hair as this will cause damage to the hair due to over processing.
Do I need to shampoo the hair after the lightener is processed?
Always. We recommend shampooing and thoroughly rinsing twice after your lightening service to be certain all residue is removed from the hair.
What type of mixing bowl should I use?
You can use any professional colour bowl as long as it is not metallic as this causes a chemical reaction.
What is the Anti Breakage Complex in the High Lift Violet Lightener?
Our bleaching powder combines Safflower Seed Oil which intensely nourishes the hair whilst helping to stimulate hair strength and protect against environmental stressors and Glycine Amino Acid helps to give hair strength, smooth texture and increased shine.
Do you need to mix High Lift Violet Lightener with Developer?
Yes, always.
Why is the High Light Violet Lightener powder violet/blue?
The violet/blue tone to the bleaching powder helps to neutralize brassiness and reduce yellow tones in the hair when lifting.
How many levels does the High Lift Violet Lightener lift?
You can achieve 9+ levels of lift.
Can you use Crazy Color High Lift Violet Lightener with other brands Developers?
Yes you can, although we recommend you use the full Crazy Color system for maximum results.
Can Crazy Color High Lift Violet Lightener be used on previously coloured hair?
Yes our High Lift Violet Lightener can be used in all the ways you would normally use bleaching products. We always recommend performing a strand test prior to any bleaching service.
Can Crazy Color High Lift Violet Lightener be used on all hair types and hair textures?
Absolutely!
What is the mixing ratio for the High Lift Violet Lightener?
Our recommended mixing ratio is 1:2, but we encourage you to mix to whatever consistency you prefer to work with. A lower ratio of developer will mean less development time and a higher ratio requires a slightly longer processing time.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
In a non-metallic mixing bowl mix the complete sachet with 5,10 or 20 volume developer, based on the client's hair condition. Mix at a ratio of 1:2 in a well-ventilated area to a smooth paste with a non-metallic application brush. Apply only to dry hair that has been pre-lightened and treated with direct dyes or semi-permanent hair colour. Process at room temperature, for up to 30 minutes, checking every 5 minutes until desired result is achieved. Remove paste immediately if the hair shows any sign of damage. Thoroughly rinse product from the hair, then shampoo followed by conditioner.
